Terms and conditions



The sending of the order by the customer implies the acceptance of these terms and conditions in full. The contract of sale of articles by Internet is concluded between Giroiseaux.ch and the customer. The customer declares his/her ability to contract with Giroiseaux.ch based on the terms and conditions present on the website Giroiseaux.ch. These terms and conditions shall prevail over any other condition stated on Giroiseaux.ch.

Features of an article 

All our products are quality products. Items are sold with no other guarantee than the one of the manufacturer. Our giroiseaux are made entirely by hand in a craft way. Small differences between the product you receive and what is shown on the site or small manufacturing imperfections are demonstration and guarantee of a fully handcrafted lavoration. 


For each order, the cost of packaging and shipping is in the form of a fixed price regardless of the number of items purchased per order. If you buy more than one giroiseau in the same order, delivery will be offered. For the customer to benefit from a fast and effective management our articles are usually sent by Swiss Post within 3 to 5 working days to the address you indicated to us. If the item could not be sent within 3 to 5 days, a new deadline would be communicated to the client within 48 hours after the order. Deliveries are restricted to Swiss territory, France, Germany and Italy. In Switzerland, there is no delivery on Sundays, national and cantonal public holidays. If the information given by the customer is inaccurate, our company can not be held responsible for failure to deliver and meet deadlines. In case of delivery problems due to Swiss Post, our company disclaims any responsibility.


A giroiseau has been conceived to be mounted only as described in the section "Mounting" of the website www.giroiseaux.ch. The company Giroiseaux is not responsible of possible damages to people or things caused by an installation different to what described in the "Mounting" section or to an installation done in a wrong way.

Painting kits

When buying a painting kit, the customer is responsible of the painting and assembling of its giroiseau, following the assembling instructions downloadable from each painting kit product page. The company giroiseau is not responsible of possible damages to people or things due to a wrong assembly. A component broken by the customer during assembling, furthermore, is not covered by warranty.


Prices of items charged to the customer are those in effect on the date of the order. They will also appear on our order confirmation sent by email and on the Paypal confirmation in case of credit card payment. Our prices are fixed in Swiss francs. The prices displayed on our website are including VAT.

Payment and security 

When the buyer orders an article on our site, all payments are secure except the payment invoice. Giroiseaux.ch uses the PayPal payment system. This integrated system on our site is fully secure in Gateway server mode with authentication certificate. Confidential data (client identity and card number) is stored only by banking partners on highly secure servers. If you want paier with banquaire corner, thank you for contacting us by email.

For Switzerland, you can pay by inpayment slip within the next 30 days after the delivery.

Data protection 

The customer gives his consent that the personal data it provides as part of the contractual relationship with Giroiseaux.ch is backed by Giroiseaux.ch. The personal customer data are saved only for the purpose of facilitating the purchase of new articles by the customer and to ensure the smooth running of the business transaction (art. 4 para. 3 LPD). Personal customer data is treated confidentially and securely (art. 7 LPD). In any case these data are transmitted to third parties.


 The contract begins when the customer placed his order and when it has been validated.

Acceptance of the order 

The acceptance of the order only happens upon receipt and control of its validity. At sending the order, the buyer automatically acknowledges the terms and conditions and accept them. In exceptional circumstances, in particular insolvency or incorrect information Giroiseaux.ch reserves the right to refuse or accept the order from a customer. 

Order confirmation 

Each customer will receive an order confirmation by email.

Right of return 

Giroiseaux.ch authorizes the return of merchandise for any reason whatsoever within 14 business days of order. This must be in perfect condition and in its packaging. Products returned incomplete, damaged or soiled by the customer will not be refunded. Shipping fees (of the original order) and return costs are paid by the customer. If unfortunately the goods would arrive at the customer's home in poor condition, Giroiseaux.ch will exchange it gladly. Simply return the damaged goods with an official statement of the Swiss Post.

Property and legal forum 

The goods remain property of Giroiseaux.ch until full payment of the goods. These general conditions of sale and the contracts concluded under are governed by Swiss law. The competent court in cases of dispute is that of Lausanne, Switzerland.


Giroiseaux grants the customer a guarantee of 2 years from the first delivery or the first withdrawal of the article for the defects that result from a defect of material or manufacture. All information on the Online Shop (product description, images, films, measurements, weight, technical specifications, accessories and other information) is subject to errors and does not constitute a guarantee of the Article. The customer's obligations regarding the verification of the goods and the notification of defects are governed by the legal provisions. The assignment of warranty rights is excluded.

The right of guarantee of the customer is satisfied at the choice of Giroiseaux by the repair of the article, the delivery of an equivalent replacement article and without defect, the reduction of the price or the cancellation of the contract (resolution). Repairs are carried out by Giroiseaux or by repair shops commissioned by it. The customer is not entitled to entrust the repair to third parties. In such a case, the customer is not entitled to reimbursement of the repair costs. The right of guarantee of the customer is extinguished in case of technical intervention and defects resulting from improper handling, excessive sollicitations, inappropriate use, external intervention (damage due to moisture, contact with liquids, blows, etc.) or failure to follow the manufacturer's instructions for use.

In the case of delivery of an equivalent replacement item without defects, the warranty period is again 2 years from the moment the customer is informed of the availability of the replacement item. In case of repair, a guarantee period of 2 years from the moment the customer is informed of the availability of the repaired article is applicable, Giroiseaux guarantee in this case only the repairs carried out and the spare parts used . The customer's warranty rights for the entire article remain intact during the warranty period of 2 years from the first delivery or first withdrawal of the item.

To enforce its warranty rights and initiate the related process, the customer must contact Giroiseaux by email with the invoice. The risks and costs of all transport, for example transport to Giroiseaux or transport back to the customer are the responsibility of the customer. Possible home repairs are the responsibility of the customer. If a defect to be eliminated is not subject to a guarantee and the customer could have realized it, it assumes all costs resulting from the verification of the item.
